A town in Syria used as a military headquarters by Egyptian and Babylonian kings. It was at Riblah that Nebuchadnezzar had King Zedekiah's sons killed before his eyes, then blinded him (2 Kings 25:6-7), and later executed a group of Judah's remaining leaders and priests, including Seraiah, brought there from captured Jerusalem (2 Kings 25:18-21).
